Resilient Teams

Resilience can be learned, but why are we all not springing back into shape after encountering stress or setbacks?

Resilience is a complicated and complex concept that is becoming increasingly important for health professionals and educators. The workforce is encountering new stressors each and every day (e.g. use of technology, pivoting to accommodate a new way to provide a service, dealing with discrimination and microaggressions) yet is somewhat expected to adapt and change on a dime. The resources in this section discuss the complexities of resilience, shed light on inter-individual differences and needs with respect to resilience, and provide useful strategies to help promote resilience of others.
